Funfetti Cupcakes

This is a recipe for funfetti cupcakes. Zella did a similar recipe, so this is just my version.

Ingredients

* 1/2 cup butter, softened

* 1 cup white sugar

* 1 egg

* 1 tsp vanilla extract

* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

* 2 tsp baking powder

* 1/2 tsp salt

* 1 cup milk

* Sprinkles to preference

One tub of buttercream icing and food colouring

Method

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Cream together butter and sugar.

Beat in the egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl.

Combine Dry mixture and wet mixture, adding milk at intervals.

Add the sprinkles to the mixture.

Spoon mixture into Cupcake tin.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Add two drops of food colouring to tub of icing.

When the cupcakes are cooled, pipe icing unto them.

Finish with a light dusting of sprinkles.
