Soup or salad?Soup. I love a good tomato soup, chicken noodle soup, or even those Alphabet noodle soups.

I typically use recipes that I find online, I don't have a favourite cookbook.

No more sweet or no more savory?No more Sweet. I love both, but I feel like it would be healthier to cut out sweets.

Which kitchen (country) is your favorite?
I love Indian and Chinese food. Rice is my favourite, so it's great from both countries. I also adore a good curry.

What is your favo food movie?
I'll say TV show. Mine is Cakeboss, because I love cake.

What is your ultimate guilty pleasure?Dairy Queen's Cotton Candy Blizzard.

Who is your biggest inspiration?I love watching cooking videos with Zoella.

Home cooking or dining out?Home cooking. It's just nice to have a home cooked meal. (Plus then you know everything that is in your food.)

High end or low profile?I don’t care so much, I enjoy both. 

What is your favorite restaurant?I adore the Texas Roadhouse.

I do my groceries at …Walmart, because it's close and convenient.

The best I’ve ever eaten is …I had fresh French bread with a meat spread on top. It was heaven.

What is your favo cocktail?I do not like cocktails. 

Coffee with George (Clooney) or Heston (Blumenthal)?George Clooney. He seems like fun.

What should not be missing in your kitchen?Eggs. I always make eggs and I hate when I'm out.

I would rather die than eat a tomato. I like tomato sauce, but the texture and smell of tomatoes sickens me.

Memory Jar

How to make a Memory Jar

This jar is a great idea. I have had one for about a year, and I really am grateful for it. I've filled this jar with tickets to events, plane tickets, little papers from my travels, movie tickets from my favourite films, etc. 

All you need to make an incredible jar like this a...well...a jar. I got mine as a christmas gift (it came with a manicure set), and I emptied it and filled it with my memories. It has a top like a red mushroom with white spots, and is very sturdy, despite being made of glass. 

Once you've filled your jar, you can empty it into a ziplock bag or a shoe box, label it with the year, and stow it away in your closet. Then you just begin filling up the memories again.

I 100% recommend making a memory jar. Just fill it with whatever things mean something to you. It is a brilliant way to leave your memories for your children.

Today I am trying to raise awareness for ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or Lou Gehrig's disease. ALS is a rapidly progressive, fatal, neuromuscular disease. The disease causes progressive paralysis in anyone, regardless of race, age, gender or history of the illness in the family. Please donate if you have the option to, it is a horrible disease, with no cure or treatment.

I went to the hair dresser recently, and she suggested that I try using hair chalk. I've dyed my hair before, but as I have brown hair, it usually fades rather quickly.

Liquid hair chalk is a great option. You put it on your hair, blow dry it, and brush it out. It then lasts for 3-5 washes, and looks great the entire time. 

This is also wonderful because you can change the colour depending on your mood. I have the pink from the hair dresser in right now, and I'm thinking I might go back and buy several more colours.

I have to say that these are my favourite thing in the world. I live in Canada, and these are my favourite drink for a cold winter's day.

They are much lighter than a hot chocolate or a coffee (though I love both), but they do make me rather sleepy.

These also apparently come in a iced form, but I've never had. Be sure to let me know what you think of it.

BTW...What would you think of me reviewing several things off the Starbucks Secret Menu?

I got these for a birthday gift, and I've only recently started using them. I have the fragrance, the shower gel and the body lotion. I like this line because it is not too strongly scented, but it is also very floral and feminine. 

I also recommend the Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea line.

Once, at night. Both to remove makeup and do a nice cleanse.

-What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)

A bit of both, probably more to the dry side.

 -What is your current facial wash?

I use Proactive, because it cleans and hydrates.

 -Do you exfoliate?

Every once in a while, when I have time.

-What brand do you use?

I use Lush exfoliating creams and bars.

-What moisturizer do you use?

Bath and Body Works, Japanese Cherry Blossom.

-Do you have freckles?

A few, but very faint and difficult to see.

-Do you use eye cream?

No, I do not.

-Do you or did you have acne prone skin?

I'm lucky enough to have great skin (thanks mom!) and I have rarely had any acne.

-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?

I did, but just because it is good for your skin.

I use KIKO 3D lifting foundation #02. I bought it on a whim while I was in France, and it is super light, so I love it,

Hard Candy Glamoflauge. If you can use Hard Candy...you should, they don't test on animals.

-What do you think of fake eyelashes?

They're pretty, but I have no time to apply them.

I did not know that, but I will keep that in mind.

My mascara, It makes my eyes pop and that's all I need.
