Delicious Sugar Cookies

Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup softened Butter

2 cups white sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tsp baking powder

5 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

Method

(Yield 60 cookies)

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)

2. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth.

3. Beat in eggs and vanilla 

4. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt

5. Cover and chill for at least one hour (or overnight)

6. Roll out on floured surface to 1/4 to 1/2 an inch thick.

7. Cut out with cookie cutters.

8. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet.

9. Bake 7-9 minutes in the oven. Cool completely.

10. Decorate and enjoy.

I know its chocolate chip, but it was the perfect opportunity.
